Section 202

The Section 202 Program at the Floyd County Housing Authority (FCHA) is designated as a 501(c)3 to help expand affordable housing with supportive services for the elderly and persons with disabilities. This program allows the elderly (62 or older) or persons with disabilities in the community to live independently in an environment that provides support activities.

FCHA currently administers 20 Section 202 units at one property named 'Hope Homes & Friends Apartments'. 

To qualify to live in a Section 202 property, at least one adult member of the household applying must be at least 62 years old and the household must make less than 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) of the location of the property.
